In the Himalayan country of Nepal, approximately 2.3 million Nepalese people lack access to clean drinking water. In addition, one in four people live in extreme poverty. Many children are forced to work in dangerous conditions and numerous families have lost their homes due to recurring earthquakes and floods. Some have been living in tents or corrugated iron huts ever since. Girls in particular are often at risk of child labor, early marriage and being sold into brothels in India. Together with various associations, we support both the water supply and a children’s home in order to help children in need in particular.
