BECOME PART OF OUR TEAM!

Are you looking for challenging tasks with social added value in a motivated team? Then you found the right place!

Serkan Eren

Executive 1. chairman | founder of the association

Serkan, Gründer von STELP.

Serkan is not the classic type to found an aid organization – but he did it anyway. As a former teacher, the children and young people he meets on his assignments are particularly close to his heart. He often likes to inspire them with his secret passion, magic, but is painfully aware that he will never be as successful at it as he is as a STELP board member. His heart beats for Stuttgart and his VfB.

Christoph Joos

Second Board

Ein Bild des zweiten Vorstands, Christoph Joos.

Christoph has been supporting STELP since 2019 – first as a fan, then as a partner and advisory board member and since 2024 as 2nd Chairman. Christoph loves spending time with his 3 kids and friends and is passionate about art, music and sport in all its forms. Christoph worked for international consultancies for a long time – today he runs his own MatchMaking Company.

Linda Weiss

CFO

Ein Bild von Linda Weiss.

As a lawyer, Linda supports the team in the planning and implementation of aid projects. She works full-time in a ministry in Stuttgart, having previously worked as a lawyer in a large law firm. Since leaving school, Linda has traveled extensively and has volunteered in various projects in Tanzania, South Africa and India. She is particularly passionate about fighting social injustice and the suppression of human rights.

Christian Gärtner

Extended Board

Ein Bild des erweiterten Vorstands, Chris Gärtner.

Chris is the all-rounder and calming influence in the STELP team. On the STELP Executive Board, he is responsible for our social businesses and works closely with STELP Events and the NATAN team. Professionally, he works in purchasing for a German energy company. In his free time, he is regularly defeated by his two daughters in Monopoly, Memory, and pillow fights. Scotland has been his dream destination for years. Thanks to a generous birthday present from his wife Jenny, he is the proud owner of a 1m² plot of land in the Scottish Highlands and therefore holds the title of Laird.

Jennifer Gärtner

Extended Board | Marketing & Communication

Ein Bild von Jennifer Gärtner.

Jenny is part of the STELP communications team and always keeps calm even in stressful moments. This quality not only comes in handy when she’s keeping an eye on things at big STELP events, but also in her job in internal communications at a Stuttgart-based company. The best way for her to relax is by doing yoga with a downward-facing dog. Jenny loves sunshine (which is why her husband Chris only suggests vacations in the Central Sahara), likes to try out unusual recipes on Pinterest and regularly buys new plants for that extra feel-good factor at home. Favorite place in Stuttgart: over a big plate of pasta at her favorite Italian restaurant in the west.

Timo Hildebrand

Extended Board

Ein Bild des erweiterten Vorstands, Timo Hildebrand.

As a former professional footballer, Timo has extensive contacts and sees his main task at STELP as connecting people who want to take on social responsibility with the organization, creating synergies and working together to help people in need. After ending his professional career as an athlete, he started the plant-based concept Vhy! in 2021. His free time and passion belong first and foremost to his son. He is also an enthusiastic yogi, is interested in vegan nutrition and enjoys cycling through Stuttgart’s forests on his e-bike.

Jéssica Seidler

HR officer

Ein Bild unserer Personalreferentin Jéssica.

Jéssica is a personnel officer at STELP. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, be it traveling or cozy evenings at home. A good book helps her to relax and escape from everyday life.
Jéssica grew up with two cultures – Greece and Brazil – which have strongly influenced her personality. From Greece she inherited a love of history and joie de vivre, from Brazil a passion for music and colorful festivities, especially bossa nova.
One thing is clear: whether at home or in the office. Jessi always puts her heart and soul into everything she does.

Mirza Hadziavdic

Project manager aid projects

Platzhalter für die Team Bilder

Mirza, who moved to Germany from Bosnia-Herzegovina at the end of 2022 and has been a project manager at STELP since 2023, loves Excel spreadsheets. And not just to make aid projects more efficient and effective, but also in his private life. He now meticulously plans his vacations with his wife and even his weekly shopping in spreadsheets. When Mirza is not working on spreadsheets, he is exploring the area around Ulm, as he now calls the city on the Danube his home.

Joelle Nowitzki

Projectmanager Aid projects & Volunteers

Platzhalter für die Team Bilder

Joelle is the project coordinator for our aid projects and volunteers at STELP. She has lived on two continents for many years, calling Germany and Ghana her home. She has gained most of her experience in development cooperation in sub-Saharan Africa. Her great wish is to explore as much of our planet as possible in the course of her life. Outside of work, Joelle loves spending time with her family and friends. This always involves delicious food, a good cup of tea, long walks or dancing to Afrobeats.
Her life motto: Life takes place in the here and now – live consciously!

Leonie Lobert

Working student Aid projects & Volunteers

Ein Bild unserer Werkstudentin Leo.

Leo’s journey at STELP began in August 2023 as an intern in the area of aid projects. She is now a working student and mainly looks after the volunteers and provides support in project coordination.

She can always be found among people, be it for a coffee or matcha latte during the day, or for a beer or Aperol Spritz in the evening. In her free time, Leo enjoys traveling to discover new countries and cultures – she is particularly drawn to sunny countries.

Leo is known for being a big klutz – especially when it comes to train journeys, which makes every trip from her adopted home of Heidelberg to Stuttgart a bit of an adventure.

Katja Madžar

Projectmanager Aid projects & Volunteers

Ein Bild unserer Werkstudentin Katja.

Katja has already completed her Bachelor’s degree in international social work and is currently studying theology as a second degree. She has turned her passion for photography into a part-time job and combines it with traveling – preferably to her home country Croatia.

When she is in Stuttgart, Katja enjoys spending time in cozy cafés with her friends or walking through the Feuersee flea market, guaranteed with a new vase in her hand.

Sina Götz

Head of communications & marketing

Ein Bild von Sina, der Head of Marketing & Communications.

Sina is our communication talent in the team and is always up for a little chat. Until she came to Baden-Württemberg for her studies, Sina didn’t think she spoke any dialect. But you can recognize her Bavarian origins from her rolling “R” on the phone. When Sina isn’t sending out press releases for STELP, updating websites or writing posts for Instagram, you can find her either having an after-work drink in her favorite pub directly above her apartment in the west of Stuttgart or doing yoga at Shavasana.

Linda Bau

Social Media Manager

Ein Bild unserer Social Media Managerin, Linda.

Linda is Social Media Manager at STELP and, together with Ann-Kathrin and Leo, is responsible for the Gen-Z vibes in the STELP office. Linda is not only a master of youth slang, but as a TikTok host she is always at the cutting edge. This is also reflected in her everyday life. Whether crocheting, painting or nail design: Linda loves trying out new things. When she’s not testing the latest AI tools or cutting reels for STELP, you’ll find Linda either on the tennis court or on her terrace in a deck chair with her favorite drink in hand: an iced matcha oat latte.

Ann-Kathrin Frank

Working student Communications & Marketing

Platzhalter für die Team Bilder

Ann-Kathrin or Anni, as everyone at STELP calls her, is our Rhineland cheerful nature. Anni is actually from Düsseldorf and moved to Stuttgart to study at the Stuttgart Media University. After her six-month mandatory internship, neither Linda and Sina nor Serkan could imagine STELP without Anni, which is why she now works as a working student in the communications team. In her free time, Anni likes to try out new vegan recipes or relax with hot yoga.

Anna Baltruschat

Management Backoffice

Ein Bild von Anna Baltruschat, Managerin im Backoffice.

Anna is the organizational talent at STELP and works in the back office to ensure that Serkan and the team have a clear head for their mission. Structure and overview are her greatest strengths – but before the day really starts, she needs her cup of coffee. Anna finds her energy on the yoga mat, where she finds peace and balance.
In addition to her work at STELP, Anna enjoys every free minute with her family. Time with her children is the most precious thing for her. Her heart also beats for natural cosmetics: a few years ago she founded her own natural cosmetics label.

Nikolaus Meyding

Head of partner programme

Ein Bild von Nikolaus Meyding.

Nikolaus, who everyone at STELP just calls Niko, got to know STELP in 2019 during his volunteer work in Turkey. Seeing the impact you can have with your work never let go of him. That’s why he decided to give up his career as a consultant for the time being and join STELP full-time. Niko establishes financial and fundraising processes at STELP and takes care of our partner program. He is a Stuttgart native through and through, likes to do a lot of sport in his free time and wants to get to know new people and cultures by traveling. What drives him? With his work at STELP, he wants to help people who have not been so lucky. He learned that every individual can make a difference on his aid mission in Turkey.

Nina Bieber

Projectmanager Finance

Ein Bild unserer Finanzkoordinatorin Nina.

Nina always keeps on top of the numbers jungle. Between all the bills and month-end closings, she likes to treat herself to an Oat Cappuccino and is always on the lookout for a new (favorite) café in her free time.

True to the motto “it’s all in the mix”, there can also be a little more action alongside the quiet me-time. In summer, Nina can be found either at festivals with friends or on her way to her next trip to Italy, because she has lost her heart to beautiful Tuscany (including pizza, pasta and Aperol, of course!).

Ulrike Polat

Finance Backoffice / Controlling

Ein Bild von Ulrike.

Ulrike is our numbers genius and supports the STELP finance team with her expertise in controlling. In addition to her main job in the world of numbers, she has always been involved in voluntary work – a passion that she puts her heart and soul into.

As a mother of two, Ulrike attaches great importance to consciously organizing her free time. Relaxed walks in the Degerloch forest help her to clear her head and recharge her batteries. Whether at work or in her free time, Ulrike always uses her passion and organizational skills to achieve the best results.

Niklas Vinterstad

Working student Finance & IT

Platzhalter für die Team Bilder

Everyone should have a Niklas! Whether IT problems or unassigned shifts in NATAN: Niklas takes care of it. When he’s not supporting us as a working student in IT & Finance, he’s either working at NATAN or studying media informatics at the Hochschule der Medien. He has already gained international experience as a volunteer, both on Lesbos and in Tanzania. When he’s not out and about in the STELP cosmos, Niklas is always on the lookout for new challenges. He has already completed a marathon and loves long mountain hikes.

Stelpy

Chief Barketing Officer (CBO)
Sicherheitsbeauftragter
Feel-Good-Manager

Ein Bild von unserem Office Hund, Stelpy.

Stelpy is our office hero on four paws and it’s hard to imagine the team without him. His path to us was anything but ordinary: Serkan discovered him in the middle of a bombed-out house on an aid mission in Ukraine, rescued him and, after a comprehensive health check in Ukraine, was finally able to take him home to Germany after a long wait. He has been part of the STELP family ever since – and to be honest, we couldn’t imagine the office without him.

With his loyal look, Stelpy brings a smile to everyone’s face. At lunchtime and after work, Stelpy loves long walks where he explores the world full of energy. He reminds us every day of the importance of solidarity and a big heart – a real STELP ambassador who not only makes us happy, but also fitter. :)
