For over 20 years, the population of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been suffering from recurring political conflicts. Six million people are on the run within the country, including many families. Few children have a carefree childhood in the Congo. Their youth is characterized by war, hunger and insecurity. The youngest children in particular are suffering both psychologically and physically from the current situation in the DR Congo.
