STELP: Before we start, what was your first point of contact with STELP?
Nikolaos Eich-Likidis, Rahman Arslan: Our first point of contact with STELP was actually through our advertising agency Geopard. You brought us into contact. I was already familiar with STELP from various media reports, but this personal meeting with founder Serkan Eren was something very special. We had the opportunity to learn more about STELP’s mission and their ongoing projects first-hand. The passion and commitment of the STELP team was overwhelming, and we immediately felt that this was an organization we wanted to support and work with.
STELP:What has been your most memorable STELP moment so far?
Nikolaos Eich-Likidis, Rahman Arslan: Our most defining moment with STELP so far was definitely the immediate and effective aid that the organization provided in the earthquake zone in south-eastern Turkey. The images from the area, showing the extent of the destruction and the suffering of the people affected, were deeply moving. It was breathtaking to see how STELP responded quickly to provide necessary support and relief supplies. This moment really underlined how crucial STELP’s work is and how quickly and effectively they can act in crisis situations. It has further strengthened our resolve to support this great organization.
STELP: And what characterizes the STELP team for you?
Nikolaos Eich-Likidis, Rahman Arslan:
Empathy and compassion.The team shows a deep understanding and empathy for the needs and challenges of the people they help.
Speed and efficiency: STELP acts proactively and swiftly in crisis situations. Their approach ensures that help arrives quickly where it is needed most.
Cooperation and team spirit: STELP team members work extremely well together and there is a clear synergy in their efforts to provide the best possible assistance. Their network of volunteers, partners and sponsors is a testament to their strong collaboration.
STELP: Where does your incredible motivation to support STELP come from?
Nikolaos Eich-Likidis, Rahman Arslan: Our motivation to support STELP comes from several inspiring factors. First of all, STELP works transparently and with integrity. The fact that the organization uses 100% of all donations directly for the aid projects gives us great confidence in our support and gives us the certainty that every donation has maximum impact.
The combination of transparency, effectiveness and a deep passion for helping deeply motivates us to support STELP in every possible way and be part of their mission to create a world where all people can live self-determined lives in dignity and safety.
STELP: Which aid project is particularly close to your heart and why?
Nikolaos Eich-Likidis, Rahman Arslan: Any aid project that focuses on children is particularly close to our hearts. Children are the future of our society and it is our duty to ensure that they can grow up in a safe, supportive and loving environment that promotes their development.
Projects that focus on providing children with education, healthcare, psychological support and basic life needs are of particular importance to us. They are not only life-changing initiatives for the children themselves, but they also lay the foundations for a better future for entire communities.
It is heartbreaking to see children suffering from crisis, conflict and poverty and we feel that it is extremely important to mobilize resources and support to help these innocent lives and give them hope and opportunities for their future.
