Interview
STELP: Before we start, what was your first point of contact with STELP?
Christoph Joos: In my role at MHP, I had contact with Timo Hildebrand in a number of sponsoring/CSR projects. And it was through him that I got to know Serkan and STELP.
STELP: What has been your most formative STELP moment so far?
Christoph Joos: The most moving and therefore also the most formative moments for me are, of course, the reports and stories of missions on the ground or encounters with those affected, such as Nael Almargerbi. Here you realize how bad and dramatic it really is. But you also learn what STELP can achieve after all.
STELP: What makes the STELP team stand out for you?
Christoph Joos: The incredible commitment and passion for the cause. And of course the great individual personalities!
STELP: Where does your motivation to support STELP come from?
Christoph Joos: Simply to help those who don’t live as privileged a life as us/me and who aren’t as well off as me/us.
STELP: Which aid project is particularly close to your heart and why?
Christoph Joos: I think all STELP projects are great – they are all right and important. I have a personal relationship with Lebanon – which is perhaps why our activities in Beirut are a little closer to my heart.
