STELP: How did you come to support STELP?
Andrea und Tina: Last year, we were once again looking for a special Christmas present for our customers. So we came up with the idea of becoming STELP partners instead. The response was incredibly positive!
STELP: In brief – what does STELP stand for?
Andrea und Tina: Courage. Openness. Transparency.
STELP: What makes STELP so special?
Andrea und Tina: STELP is breaking new ground. Our monthly partnership contributions exclusively finance the internal STELP infrastructure. This means that all donations can be used directly on site in projects. STELP’s own events give it great visibility and ensure that the issues are present and that we are constantly reminded of how well we are doing here and the precarious situations in which children, women and men live worldwide.
STELP: What makes the STELP team stand out for you?
Andrea und Tina: Great commitment and lots of positive energy! What also convinces us is the critical scrutiny of our own actions in order to maximise our influence.
STELP: Where does the motivation to support STELP come from?
Andrea und Tina: The sustainability strategies we develop for companies play a global role, post-colonial contexts always play a role. They have a direct influence on our actions and therefore on living spaces, particularly in the global South. Many regions are affected by serious consequences such as heat, drought, food shortages, floods, storms, earthquakes, war and refugee flows. This leads to great suffering in places where people have no means of protecting themselves. STELP helps directly on the ground. This makes a difference for every person who is helped. We want to support this with our contribution.
