Good news from Cameroon: A few weeks ago, our partners from the aid organization Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe Kamerun opened a new school with our support in Massam, a town 25 kilometers from the next largest city, Foumban!
And that was urgently needed. Because two of the four school buildings had already collapsed due to construction defects. The 400 or so schoolchildren were taught in the remaining buildings, which were also in need of renovation. Many parents withdrew their children from the school for fear of further collapse risks. Together with our partners, we have now been able to finance a completely new school building, equipped with two modern classrooms, desks and blackboards.
With our financial support, we were not only able to ensure that the village has a new school, but also help the children to break the cycle of poverty thanks to a good education.
You can find a video about our school on the website of our partner organization. We recommend: watch to the end!
