Dental Emergency Team
STELP is helping since
2022
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, millions of people have fled. Many flee via the neighbouring country of Poland and are accommodated there in initial reception centres.
The need for dental support there is high. But there is a lack of treatment options and skilled personnel.
We would like to change that! That is why STELP, together with the Dental Emergency Team has set up its own Mobile Dental Clinic, which is now treating refugees on site.
For this purpose, STELP financed a second-hand ambulance, which was subsequently converted into a professional dental treatment station. The mobile dentist team took care of the dental equipment and carried out the treatment of the patients.
Several teams of volunteer dentists are working in the Polish/Ukrainian border region.
Thanks to the joint project, we can provide dental care for a large number of refugees.
