Together with our partners from the Turkish sports club Galatasaray Istanbul, we are building livable container villages in the areas affected by the earthquakes. Among other places in Kahramanmaraş. Together we are setting a sign of humanity.
Because for years we have seen refugee camps in which catastrophic and inhumane conditions prevail. Each time we ask ourselves: do they not want to make these villages livable, or for reasons unknown to us, there is no other way?
Since this project, we know: It can be done differently.
With playgrounds and sports fields, several rooms in the containers, private terraces, attractive outdoor areas and psychological support, we give hope and a dignified life back to people who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.
