In our last article about Morocco, we reported on the construction of the first container villages. Now the time has come: the first container village has been completed and can be inaugurated.
The first residents have already moved in and have the chance to experience a somewhat more normal everyday life. This step was particularly important as winter is approaching and the colder temperatures make life in tents extremely difficult.
So what’s next?
In the coming weeks, our local partners will start building more container villages. Not all those affected have been provided for and temperatures are dropping day by day. Together with our partner organizations, Helping Hands Africa (HHA) and the Alofoq Charity Association, we will continue to work to provide as many people as possible with a roof over their heads.
