Interview
STELP: What is your STELP story?
Elena: I’ve always liked to keep things under control and organized, and that’s how I ended up working as a manager in various places. My heart has always driven me to do everything with love and to go to bed knowing that I’ve done something good for someone today: and that’s how I found my way to STELP.
STELP: Which of our aid projects is particularly close to your heart?
Elena : Having grown up with my disabled sister and having seen and experienced all her struggles, the project in Bosnia is the one that touches my heart the most. The thought that these children and their parents are getting support, that they can finally be in a place where someone sees them and helps them, makes me the happiest.
STELP: What superpower would you like to have?
Elena:Ever since I was a child, I’ve wanted to be able to read minds. How much easier things would be… I love hearing raw, honest opinions :’) (of course there would have to be an on/off button).
STELP: You have to work concentrated, what’s playing on your headphones?
Elena: Alpha Brain Waves. They induce a sense of calm, increase creativity and improve the ability to absorb new information.
STELP: How do you clear your head?
Elena: Through art. I spend most of my free time oil painting and surrealism. Painting makes it easy to let go of control and ego. Knowing that I can create something that speaks for myself helps me relax the most.
