STELP: When was your first point of contact with STELP?
Luka: I first met Serkan at the beginning of 2020. At the time, I was still operations manager at Schräglage and had planned a benefit concert for STELP, but unfortunately we weren’t able to realise it due to Covid.
STELP: What was your most defining STELP moment?
Luka: For me personally, it was 2022, when I was able to accompany Serkan on his first aid mission to Lebanon. The second moment for us as Lust und Liebe was the drop of the online shop and the collabo collection for STELP this year.
STELP: What makes the STELP team stand out for you?
Luka: Doers, innovative, not too much ‘blah blah blah’. 3 important qualities in my opinion, we can all be happy that such a cool team has come together for the cause.
STELP: Where does the motivation to support STELP come from?
Luka: From day 1, I was impressed by the model of how STELP collects donations and builds the infrastructure with partners. Coupled with the speed and courage shown to help people in need, these are just a few of the motivating factors. As mentioned above, I was able to accompany Serkan to Lebanon in 2022 2023, and after the first mission at the latest, the feeling of motivation turned into a sense of duty to support Serkan and STELP wherever we can.
STELP: Which aid project is particularly close to your heart?
Luka: All of them!
STELP: How did the merch co-operation between Lust Liebe STELP come about?
Luka: I asked Serkan what comes after the NATAN Bar. Which smart income streams STELP still wants to build. E-commerce and merch were named among the first 3 projects. Then it was clear that we would take on the matter with the aim of building another income stream for STELP to generate smart donations. So we can say that the drop was just the beginning :). We are incredibly proud to be a part of this cause.
