A STELP team led by STELP founder Serkan Eren is currently in Afghanistan to provide widows and orphans with urgently needed relief supplies. Since the Taliban took power in 2021, the humanitarian situation has worsened dramatically: around two thirds of the population are dependent on humanitarian aid. Widows and orphans, who can barely survive in Afghanistan without a breadwinner, are particularly affected.
Supply of food parcels
Our team has distributed food parcels in the region around Mazar-e-Sharif. Each package is enough to feed a large family for around a month. In the coming days, the team will distribute hundreds of these parcels to help as many people in need as possible.
In addition to providing relief supplies, we attach great importance to listening to the people affected, being there for them and taking their concerns seriously.
