1000 days of war in Ukraine are 1000 days too many.
On Monday, November 18, 2024, the war in Ukraine marks its 1000th day.
While the conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing since 2014, the attack on February 24, 2022 dramatically exacerbated the situation and left many in a state of shock and horror.
At the beginning of the war of aggression, the Ukrainians experienced a great deal of solidarity; almost every bakery, almost every retail outlet organized its own support campaign. But even this crisis has receded further and further into the background over the last 1000 days.
So let’s set an example together on Monday: Share the “1000 days too many” graphic we have created on all platforms and show your solidarity. Even after 1000 days, we must not look away, because the war continues to cause immeasurable suffering day after day and continues to destroy the lives of millions of people.
1000 days of war in Ukraine are 1000 days too many: Together against forgetting.
This is how STELP helps in Ukraine:
STELP has been active in Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Together with various partners, we quickly established a functioning supply chain in the first year of the war. In 2024 alone, we have already sent 50 trucks with relief supplies to Ukraine. STELP is also supporting the container villages run by the NGO Leo States Ukraine, which offer internally displaced people free, temporary accommodation. On the front line, we also provide food to the needy civilians who remain there. We also support projects that provide psychological support for children and adults.
