A new era has begun in our self-sufficient village for women who have suffered particularly difficult blows of fate. After more than a year of preparation, we are starting our personal SOLAR AGE.
A new life begins for women who have experienced the most horrible things and endured things that we cannot even imagine. They are trained in jobs that could not have been more alien to them months ago. They become manufacturers of small solar systems.
The appreciation and self-esteem that the ladies receive through this work can hardly be greater.
The solar systems with an integrated power bank and equipped with LED lamps can be used by families in their tents at night as a light source (image eight) and charge their mobile phones. After a test phase, we would like to produce the systems in larger quantities. The plan is to sell them to international aid organizations that help in areas where, for example, the power supply has collapsed after an earthquake. In this way we could offer countless women a fairly paid job and thus a perspective that prevents them from getting on boats at night.
However, until we can generate funds with it, we have to invest in the project. We are happy about every donation that helps us support those women. From today we are happy to accept pre-orders or sponsorships for families that we would like to supply with the systems.
With only 34€ you can enrich a family with sustainable electricity and have given a woman in need a fairly paid job. We are still a non-profit organization. This means that every € generated flows into our projects abroad.
