Devastating earthquakes in Turkey. A continuing war of aggression on Ukraine. The escalation of the Middle East conflict. Deadly natural disasters in Greece, Morocco and Libya. Starving children in Afghanistan and Yemen. 2023 has taken away so many innocent people’s lives, their families and their hope for a better future.
All these people were unlucky. They were unlucky not to grow up and live here in Germany like we did. We don’t have to have a guilty conscience about it. Because we can’t help that either. But we must be aware of our privilege. Let’s use it and make a difference together.
Because with cohesion, empathy and courage, we can make so much happen. On a large scale, but also on a small scale. For society, but also for the lives of individuals.
On December 2, we would like to look back with you at what we have already accomplished TOGETHER this year. We want to enjoy with you, laugh, but also experience moments that get under your skin. That move you to tears and make you think.

4th fundraising gala in the Kursaal in Bad Cannstatt a very special evening.
An evening that makes a difference.
An evening that makes a contribution.
To an evening that really counts.
For us at STELP, it’s important to be transparent and sustainable with our donations. That’s why we have developed our unique partner program . Of course, these values are also important to us at our events. That’s why we’re especially proud that the gala doesn’t cost STELP anything. Whether it’s tablecloths, food or the artists, who waive their fee, (almost) everything is donated or sponsored. And if any costs should arise, we have generous supporters who will cover them for us. We can only manage an evening like this thanks to our sponsors and the support of our volunteers. Around 80 volunteers work in front of and behind the stage, setting up, serving the menu or taking care of the smooth running of the event. And many of them are already helping to plan and implement our fundraising gala weeks and months before the event. Thank you for your support.
