June 20th is World Refugee Day.
122 million people are displaced worldwide.
As we scroll through our social media feeds, images of war, destruction and flight disappear within seconds. For millions of people, however, what we only see briefly is a bitter reality: loss of home, insecurity, hopelessness.
On World Refugee Day, we remember these people – and that humanitarian aid never stops.

In Ukraine, Greece, Lebanon, Egypt, Bosnia-Herzegovina and other countries, we stand by the side of refugees.
In 2024, we were able to support over 225,000 displaced people – a third of them children.
We provide concrete help with education projects, safe accommodation, food and hygiene products – together with strong local partners.
