Despite the country’s great diversity, Uganda is still one of the poorest countries in the world. Almost half of the people live in extreme poverty. Access to education is also not guaranteed for most young people. We have therefore supported educational projects in Uganda.

- Support for “Pangea Educational Development” in financing two mopeds that can take learning materials directly to the pupils in the villages
- Support for a project run by the Stuttgart-based Stay Foundation, in which smallholder farmers were trained as “ecopreneurs”

Up to 90 pupils can be taught in the newly built school. The focus is primarily on children from particularly difficult backgrounds.
Since the end of 2020, we have been working with the Stuttgart-based STAY Foundation in Uganda to provide financial support for a project that trains smallholder farmers to become ecopreneurs. The project is now coming to an end and with it our support in Uganda.
