In the Meiganga region of Cameroon, many people face major structural challenges. Around 60% of the population cannot read or write, and access to reliable education is limited. These conditions make it particularly difficult for young people to access training and long-term prospects.
The prolonged periods of drought in particular make it almost impossible to earn a regular income from agriculture. This is precisely where our project comes in: financing an aquaponics system not only enables fish to be farmed, but also provides a reliable water supply to the surrounding fields thanks to the special system.
